Will Outlook 2003 automatically over write Outlook Express 6

Dell is sending me Office 2003 to install in my brand new Dell computer
purchased in 2006. Outlook Express 6 shipped on the machine. 1. Will Outlook
2003 overwrite Outlook Express 6 automatically? 2. Should I download all
available service packs for Office 2003?
