Will Not Save a DVD

I put tons of time into a movie that I made on Windows Movie Maker. I saved
it to my computer then saved it to a regular CD-R. The file saved fine and I
created 4 discs of the movie. However, when I put the disc into my portable
DVD player, a bunch of folders came onto the screen but the movie wouldn't
play. I bought some DVD-R discs and tried again to save the movie. This time
it wouldn't save the movie file to that disc. I tried looking into the help
files but nothing seemed to help me.

You have to use DVD authoring software. After you make your movie using Movie
Maker save it to an AVI file. You will then need to import that AVI file into
a DVD authoring software package then burn it to a DVD using a DVD burner.
