Will not put files in media libray

I have tried to get some songs in my files to go to media
Library and they will not go I have tried to search
computer and files and it will only put in video files
and no audio files will transfer. i get this message

Error# C00D11CD

then wants me to get web help or close?
I have tried to redownload the player and I still get the
same message does anyone know what I can do?
