Will having a firewall prevent the blaster worm from infecting my PC?

I'm currently out of town and have no way of knowing if my
roommate used my computer this morning. I have Sygate
Personal Firewall and Norton AntiVirus installed on my
computer. Will any of these block the blaster worm from
infecting my computer until I'm able to install the
patch???

The combination of your anti-virus software and your software firewall, if
they are correctly configured and kept up to date, will prevent you from
being infected by the virus. Install that patch ASAP.
