Wildcard DNS?

does anyone know if Microsoft DNS for windows 2000 does Wildcard dns.

That's about it. Just manually create the blank record with the IP.

That is it, you will also notice that if you have a secondary the secondary
will copy it as an "A" record with the wildcard "*" name.
I guess you can call this one a "bug" in MSDNS if you want, I cannot
disagree with that. But, it works and does allow you to use wildcard
records.
However, I do believe that attempting to use wildcards in an AD zone could
cause some real problems, I have found them very useful in other hosted DNS
zones.
