Hi folks! I'm looking for some freeware for personal data management.
Right now I've been working with a series of MS Notebook plain txt
files because they're so quick and easy. I would really like a way to
link them together, though. Wouldn't it be cool if I could just write
a couple of words in CamelCase and have a new file created and indexed
automatically in a searchable database?
I know wiki environments can do this, but I know nothing about Perl,
Python, etc. And I don't need this to be on the Internet--I'm happy to
keep this info confined to my personal hard drive.
Are there any solutions out there? Or do I need to figure out how to
install a full wiki, even if I don't need the online collaboration that
wiki is so famous for?
Thanks!
Rob
