Widescreen display

I have a sony notebook with an ATI Rage Mobillity
adapter. I have attached a new 16x9 widescreen LCD
monitor, however I cannot figure out how to set it for
widescreen. Does W2K have such functionallity? If so, is
it within the OS, the video drivers or the monitor
driver? I installed the monitor driver and I still only
have the standard resolutions. There seems to be no video
updates so I'm concerned I will be unable to set a
resolution that will justify the 16x9 format.

Hi Brian,

It's up to your video card/driver to provide the correct resolution. I'm not
certain, but I don't think the ATI Rage Mobility can do it.
