Why do I get the message \\name\lv8 is not accessible. You might not have
permissions to use this network resource. Contact the administration ......
etc.

When ever the file is in the folder Program Files - I get this message. When
I copy the same folder to C:\ I DO NOT GET IT AND CAN ACCESS IT OVER THE
NETWORK!.

Is it because of the Operating system controlling the Program Files and
Users setup to use them??

Obliviously, I do not have the same users on both systems.

Any thoughts appreciated.

It may be because you don't have that folder set to shared. Enabling
sharing at the root of the system drive may not give other systems access to
its complete contents.
