Why would the import/export option not be available in Outlook?

I am trying to move a calendar in my personal files to the calendar on my
exchange server. Copying does not work, so I assume I will need to use
import/export. However, the import/export option is grayed out and will not
work. How do I get the calendar moved over? I am using Outlook 2003 with
SP1 on an XP machine.

Display your calendar in a table view (categories, for instance) select all
and right click and drag to your Exchange mailbox calendar. When releasing
the mouse button, you will have a choice of move or copy.
