When I right click on a one time appointment in my outlook calander it
automaticaly sets an indefinite weekly reocurrance for that item even though
I do not set a reocurrance. I've downloaded all available updates and my
computer and office program is barely a week old. How do I fix it?

Look in Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs. If there is a program in there named addinsetup, remove it. This is a Dell computer, right?

I looked and there is no program "adinsetup" and yes it is a Dell.

I've discovered that the problem also occurs if I do a drag and a drop with
an appointment. Now I can't even open the appointment and remove the
ocurance. Now I have to delete and then enter the appointment all over
again. This really sucks!

I found it!

The file name is outlookaddinsetup.

Thanks Dude!

Any idea what this little program was or how I got it in the first place?
