Why multiple emails sent when adding jpeg attachment in Outlook.

When I send an email message to someone with a jpeg attachment - they always
end up getting multiple copies of the message. Anywhere from 32 to 69 some
of the time. I am now afraid to add an attachment as it is like receiving a
whole pile of spam. Where can I look or what can I do to solve this problem?
My computer says it does not have a virus. I have Outlook Express 6. This
has been happening for quite some time.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Loretta asked:

While this is an Outlook Express question and should be asked in an Outlook
Express newsgroup, the answer is easy: disable OE's splitting the message
into parts.
