Why is the text in my text boxes displaced?

Hello,

When I open ppt (Powerpoint 2003) files in Powerpoint 2007, any text in text
boxes (or headlines, or any other "standard" area for text) is often
displaced up one line. This isn't always the case, but I estimate it happens
80% of the time.

Please notice how I have selected the text in the box, but the actual
display of the text is nudged one line up.

Can anybody tell me if there is some global setting that I can fix?

Sounds like a printer driver problem to me (I know that sounds crazy but
you're just going to have to trust me ;-) ):
PowerPoint 2007 text editing slow, text cut off, text display or formatting
