Why is my web query not updating properly in excel?

I have inserted a web query in Excel, it updates fine when until I close the
document and then re open it. When I open the file, an error message appears
that says "The web query returned no data. To modify the query, click OK,
etc etc.". Do I have to delete an old query and insert a new one each time I
open the document?
