Hi, I have a SvcHost process using 2M of memory. That seems like an aweful
lot isn't it? Here are the services running under it:

6to4
AppMgmt
AudioSrv
Browser
CryptSvc
DMServer
DHCP
ERSvc
EventSystem
FastUserSwitchingCompatibility
HidServ
Ias
Iprip
Irmon
LanmanServer
LanmanWorkstation
Messenger
Netman
Nla
Ntmssvc
NWCWorkstation
Nwsapagent
Rasauto
Rasman
Remoteaccess
Schedule
Seclogon
SENS
Sharedaccess
SRService
Tapisrv
Themes
TrkWks
W32Time
WZCSVC
Wmi
WmdmPmSp
winmgmt
wscsvc
xmlprov
BITS
wuauserv
ShellHWDetection
helpsvc
WmdmPmSN

Some of those appear to just run at startup then quit but most of them are
currently running.

Are there any from the list that i can get rid of, or a place to find what
they all are. I know some of them are just basic windows services but others
I'm not sure about.

There are websites that list the services and make recommendations for each
one. One of them is

I'm not saying that you should take it as gospel, but it is a place to start
if you are determined to make the effort. If you don't intend to put any
time into learning about it I recommend you leave it alone. Of course, I
have been wrong before.

There are plenty of good tools to research what the processes are:
