Why is automatic acceptance of mtgs not working

I have Outlook set up to automatically accept appointments and meetings,
however, I have to respond to a left message (accept, decline, etc.) in order
to get items placed on my calendar. Does anyone know how I can fix my
calendar so that it accepts appointments and meetings automatically?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal

I am using Outlook 2003 on an Exchange Server at work.
