Why images in my powerpoint presentation do not display%3f

I working with Powerpoint 2003 in a networked XP environment and many of my
presentations sent to me from others do not have the images embedded in them
displayed. All I get is a red x and the outline of the image box. I can
have someone else use my machine and login to their profile and they can see
the presentation without any problem. Can not get the images to be displayed.

First: Make sure that you have applies SP1 for Office 2003 to your machine.
If you haven't, do it now. (Help-->Check for updates, follow the links on
the Office Online pages.)
