Why I cannot accept a task assignment?

I receive task assignments, and I can see them in the reading pane. The
accept and decline buttons appear within the message of the reading pane, but
nothing happens when I click on them. It does not put the task under my tasks
neither it sends a message to aknowledge the receipt of the task. Can someone
tell me what am I doing wrong?

am having the same problem as you. Also trying to fine an answer to this
problem with no luck.

Does anyone know of a fix for this problem?
