Why I am requested permission to use an unspecified key ?

J

JEAN LE DEM

When trying to send e-mails, a window opens requesting permission to use an
unspecified key. Whatever my response is (granting or denying permission),
messages stay in the outbox and MS Outlook 2003 has to close and restart.
Any views ?

Can you copy and paste the entire dialog? (Most dialog can be copied - click
on the text area of the dialog and Ctrl+C to copy.)

If that is the case, you should have posted in the Vista newsgroup. This
newsgroup addresses issues with Microsoft Outlook. When using a news reader,
try "microsoft.windows.vista.general"

I would certainly try it. Verify you have the latest Vista updates first.
Depending on who released the hotfix (office or vista) it may or may not
help.

I am having the same problem. The posts below did not answer your question.
Did you get this resolved? If so, how? I can not send from Outlook 2003.
