why doesn't the table appear?

We just upgraded to Office 2007 and when I'm in Access importing a text file
into a table. After it's done, the new table does not appear in my Table
list for at least a minute or 2. Why isn't it appearing right away? How do
I fix?

we are running Service Pack 2. The thing is, if I want to see the table
quickly, I have to close Access and reopen it and the table's there.

I don't think there's a fix so far. Even in my version the macro editor
had
problems where the Ribbon was disabled and had to wait between 1 to 10
mins.

If you purchase the retail version you might want to call MS.

Instead of closing Access, have you tried minimizing Access and maximize?
