Why does Word ask to save changes when I haven't made any to the

Why does Word (Windows XP) ask if I want to save changes to a document even
when I haven't made any changes when I try to close the document?

There are several things you can do that make Word think that a document
needs saving, including --

Printing the document (updates the LastPrintDate value)
Use a Date field (updated automatically when you open the document)
Use a macro that queries any DocumentProperty (Word quirk)
Use a macro that sets the document's Saved property to FALSE
