Hi everyone! I'm a newbie. I have an anoying problem and I wonder if anyone can help me.

Here's the thing:
Windows keeps opening the My Documents folder in Windows Explorer on startup. Every time!!! At first it didn't bother me that much but when I tried to figure out how to turn this function off I hit a dead end.

Please! Does anyone know a solution to this?

i cant see it in the list but you have some spyware on there, so download adaware and spybot S&D and run them.

i'll have a think and look on the net to see if anyone else has the same problem

Holy smokes! I shocked!!!

I run Lavasoft's Ad-aware almost after every internet session. It most often finds tracking cookies but nothing else. Do you mind telling me which of those startup programms are the spyware. I'm a bit info-challenged as far as the actual .EXEs are concerned! Can't tell which is which.

If you're refering to the startup folder on the start menu, that one is empty.

I'm thinking it's probably the spyware. I'll do a scan and see what happens.

Thanks for all the help. I'll keep you posted!
