Why does search not work in live mail ?

I have desktop search set to only search file names on the drives and no
text. So anyone that types things in does not open email of other things
that may have personal info.

But when I tried to search the messages in the newsgroups while in live mail
program it acts like it is stupid.

Is it so cheep it does not have its own search engine and uses vista desktop
also. That is real bad security. How can I keep people from my email that
way.

The search in WLM has always worked great for me..

BTW, the group for WLM is
microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop
