With Vista you have no real control over your security, the idiots

The idiots being Microsoft.
You may change things, but, if you do, Microsoft refuses connection.
Time to stand up and put the idiots in their place.
Microsoft sucks.
What right to they have to control my computer?
Thanks, Grady. Usually, we get people here who either are informed or know
that they are not and want help. But statements such as yours help us to
know that we can safely forget anything that you have to say.
As a Vista hater (I use the term professionally), I have many criticisms of
it. However, security is not one of them. I make my personal machines less
secure for my personal convenience, but -- believe me -- I don't disable ANY
of Vista's security features for my clients. In fact, I make it even more
strict. But I can disable security options or enable others because I am in
control of the machine and I know how.
Well, I do have ONE security-related complaint: I'd like more customizable
options on warnings that I can disable in Security Center. I'd like to
disable UAC, firewall, antivirus, spyware, internet security, and automatic
update warnings individually. Right now, it's an either all or nothing
adjustment, even though firewall (especially) and other warnings might not
be appropriate.
