Why does IE have to close when not removing?

Why does IE have to close when it is not removing any
Spyware? I hate to say it, but if Lavasoft Ad-Aware had
Spynet (better identification) and was a US product, it
would have been a superior product to purchase! Far
better UI and functionality. I know that it is early and
this is a Beta1, so I hope that Microsoft keeps the core
concepts of Spynet and dumps the UI with it's bad
functionality.

IE stayed open here.
Didn't turn off any firewall and doesn't show Firefox as anything (per
others posts).

Installed and runs okay but doesn't seem to scan at a level as much as
Adaware.

But it's a beta and I'm out of rum.

Tim,

Removing spyware SUCCESSFULLY requires that all browsers and programs be
closed prior to scanning the system with any spyware program. Check out
any well known spyware forum and you'll see that this is fact, not rumor.
