I am using Excel 2000, but this also occurs in Excel 97.
Take this extreme example:
I have data in cell A1. I scroll down to cell U1000 and enter data.
I now delete the data in cell U1000.
If I now press CTRL END, I would expect the cursor to return to cell A1 as
this is the extent of my current workspace. Instead, the cursor goes to cell
U1000, no matter where the cursor is currently placed.
If I delete, clear or any other type of deletion of row 1000 (including rows
on either side) pressing CTRL END will always go to the U1000 cell even
though there is nothing in it.
Is there any way round this as I dont want a large file with nothing in it.
A spreadsheet with one data entry (as in this extreme example) should not be
very large at all.
TIA
Martin
