Why do pictures change color when inserted into power Point

I tried to insert a picture into a Power Point presentation and the entire
picture changed color. The skin color in the picture is purple. I saved the
picture as a .jpeg in Photoshop, then tried to insert it into Power Point.

Are you inserting the photo as a background? Also, which design template are
you using in this file?

Does the image come in purple if you try it in a new, blank presentation?

I am not using a template. I was trying to put the pictures into a blank
presentation.

I inserted the picture by using Insert> Picture > From File.

I am using a blank template in a new presentation. I inserted the picture by
using Insert> Picture > From File.

Okay, needed to check, as there are some templates designed to put a color
wash type thing over images inserted as the background.

Since that's not the issue here, the next place I'd look is Photoshop's
color managment/color profiles. Turn those off and see if that resolves the
issue.

Turning off the color managment/color profiles off did not work.

Also, it seems to be random. Sometimes the pictures are normal and other
times the color varies. Any other suggestings?

Well, I do remember there being issues with Photoshop and some image files
turning yellow. Don't remember purple, though. And random makes it a
*really* strange issue.

I wonder if you turn off the color mgmt/profile and then resave the image if
that would make any difference?

Anybody recall the one about some Adobe filter or another being overwritten?
Oh, wait. Maybe that was Illustrator?
