why do I keep getting a request for my password for outlook..

My passwork and username is already inputted in outlook so I can automaticly
sign in..but it keeps asking. I click ok on the sign in and yet it won't
finish sending and recieving and just keeps askign for my password and user
name.. What happened when this didn't happen before

And that would be for WHICH version of Outlook?
And that would be for WHICH version of Windows?
And that would be for WHAT type of e-mail accounts (POP, IMAP, Exchange,
HTTP)?
And that would be for WHO as your e-mail provider?
And that would be for WHAT type of network Internet connection (dial-up,
cable, DSL, satellite, wireless hotspot, etc.)?

Considering how many versions there are of Outlook and how many versions
there of Windows, the combinations are too numerous to bother
addressing. Give details.
