I have a database, bunch of different queries, hitting tables linked to
MYSQL.
Everytime I hit the first such query after opening the DB, I get a
dialog box:
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver Access denied for User...
I hit OK, and I get another dialog box,
MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver DSN Configuration. Version 3.51.09
Now, I know the screen, but I have already filled it out in data
sources. I know that the password and user is correctly set up. Yet, I
am still forced to re-enter the password each and every time.
Why did I bother to put a password during setup of the data source, if
it is going to ignore what I put there, and ask me every time anyway?
This is universal, not just my workstation.
How can I stop this thing from coming up, and just get it to use what
was set up in the first place?
