You'll find that bottom-posting is not done that often here. One reason is that a lot of us use Outlook Express as our Newsreaders and bottom-posting serves no purpose with that reader except to make posts VERY repetitive. If we want to know what specifically you are replying to we need only look below if we haven't read it already. Most of us have so the bottom posting is again redundant.

Many like it many don't. I suppose the best thing to do is use what you have to the best of your ability and we will do the same.

As for this column-width issue. Man I think you are looking to do the impossible in Windows 2000. If something here works PERMANENTLY that will be a new one on me. I wish you all the best in your endeavor.

I'm trying OE Quotefix with Outlook Express. Its great. Highly
recommended!
