Why am I not receiving bcc messages?

I often bcc myself on messages when sending email in Outlook and I am not
receiving them ... I am using my Gmail account with Outlook 2003, the bcc
message will come through to my Gmail account but not into my Outlook
inbox... How can I fix this?

Gmail handles BCC's to/from the acct differently - the original is in the
sent folder and that is what you see - it never hits the SMTP server and
comes back, so its not a separate message in the inbox.

thank you Diane, is there anyway that i can get bcc messages (sent via my
gmail acct.) in my Outlook inbox? for work purposes and follow up i have
always relied on bcc messages - any suggestions?
