While running show - how print slide?

When I run a slideshow on on computer with the 97 viewer, a right click
allows me to print the current slide.

When I run the slideshow on a computer with PPT 2000, or PPT 2003,
there is no print option in the right-click menu.

Is there a way to print a single slide from a running slideshow with
something other than Viewer 97?

I know that if one opens the ppt (or pps) file with the application,
from within that app you can print, but I'm planning to release the
slideshows in such a fashion that the user starts with a pps and only
sees the other slideshows as links off of that top-level pps. So how
might the user be able to print a slide of interest, given that
arrangement?

Mark,

You can do this with VBA but VBA won't work if:

- Running from either of the free viewers
- Running in full PPT on a system where security settings don't permit VBA
macros

Steve,

Thanks for that information. I've just looked around and found some
VBA for that.

I'm surprised, to say the least, that such an option isn't integral to
the show. Well, I guess that's the way it is.

Thanks again for your quick reply (and you've helped me before with
PPT, you MVPs are very good).

BTW, I did look in this group for a Q&A on this topic, but didn't find
a relecant post - although I only did a perfunctory search.

Afraid so .... sad but true.

Ah. He hasn't heard the puns yet, has he? Innocent. ;-)

No problem. The search engines aren't perfect. We're easy. No reasonable
question refused.
