I've recently tried to install XP on a system. It can't find storage devices
I know normally you'd have them on a floppy but I can't find my old one. How
do I tell what drivers I need I've downloaded one for my SATA/RAID Device but
this doesn't seem to help so I guess its needs more drivers (SCSI ?) Is there
a way of checking what one's I need the system is running I just don't know
what drivers XP needs or how to find them

During setup, did you press 'F6 for RAID' when prompted during the text
screen copy cycle?

Wouldn't be much point in that if he doesn't have the drivers on floppy,
which was the point of his post.

If intel,go to intel.com/downloads,chipset,download the chipset id
utility,see
what you have, return to downloads, desktop, match to intels boards (p875-p950
etc),get thier F6 copy for RAID....

I press F6 and load the SATA/RAID floppy I've got but it still won't see my
drives. My biggest problem seems to be ULi based. They were taken over by
Nvidia and closed their site. Thanks for all your help but nothings worked so
far. I'm not sure what else is needed to see my drives I thought once I had
the SATA/RAID driver it would be ok
