Which PC to buy for smooth position of diagrams?

Hi

I want to know what function does certain PC have for smooth movement and
position of diagrams without being affected by snap to grid. For example my
boss's PC allows smooth placement of each piece of diagram upon another piece
of diagram together in desired position, instead of difficult fitting them
together in one place like my PC at home that skips each piece of diagram in
something like GRID, refusing to fit 2 pieces of diagram together.

For example, put "A" together with another "A" to make them look like only 1
"A" on Microsoft Word so it is smooth fitting together on PC and it is what I
want. My PC at home does not have this smooth function unlike my boss' PC. It
must be PC graphic card or system or something. Please help suggesting which
PC function to buy.

It's not about making anti-aliased text. It's about smooth movement of
diagram without being affected by snap to grid. Someone said it was the
graphic card and I could ask the experts at this forum. Appreciate helpful
feedbacks. Thanks.

This is not a question of "which PC to buy" but which application you
use for your diagrams. Since you did not name it, we can only guess.

Many applications let you position items smoothly by you holding down
the Shift or Ctrl key, then pressing either of the four arrow keys on your
keyboard.

firstly, it is presumed that
you have de selected snap
to grid options.

nextly, see how your
pc handles the work in
safe mode. If it works
better there, then there
may be aproblem with
the normal mode.

I have mentioned using Microsoft Word. It does not have the function of
disabling Snap to Grid.

If you are using the draw function in MS Word, it certainly does have a snap-to-grid feature which
can be disabled.
Assuming you have the Drawing tool bar up, click on the word "Draw" at the left end of the tool bar.
The click on the "Grid" option and a dialog box will open with the "snap-to-grid" and
"snap-to-object" options.

Word / Help / Snap / "Turn on or off snap to grid"
