Which mobo to use? The one with the i440BX chipset or the VIA Apollo PLE133 chipset?

I've decided to keep the PCI GeForce FX 5200 video card I got for Christmas.

I have 2 different motherboards (and CPUs) I can use:

#1> i440BX chipset w/ Slot 1 PIII 800 Coppermine CPU , 100 FSB, AGP
1x/2x,
- and has 3 DIMM slots (I have 384MB 100MHz RAM).

OR

#2> VIA Apollo PLE133 chipset w/ PIII 866 FCPGA CPU, 133 FSB, No AGP slot,
- but has only 2 DIMM slots (for a total of 256MB RAM (I have only
100MHz RAM right now)).

OS = Win98SE on both

Which one would give the best performance in combination with the GeForceFX 5200 PCI?
(This would be with not-so-new games like:
Serious Sam, Half-Life, Jedi Knight, Iceland Dale, Morrowind, TigerWoods
PGA, etc).

Thanks for your help!
Joe

I'd try the BX set myself first and see how it goes. Maybe in the meantime
download all the patches for the VIA chip set. :)

It's a PCI card - thus the dilemma...
