Which font size for A5 format - is it change necessary?

I should print a large document in A5 format.
Originally was and is my template and font size prepared for A4.
Should I change font size in my template or is it changed automatically if I
will change the print properties?

The font size is not changed automatically unless you are using the "2 pages
per sheet" option in the Print dialog, in which case the entire page is
reduced to fit on half a sheet. If you have changed the paper size in Page
Setup, then this will not work.
