Where to find this modem driver?

If "drivers" are off topic, please excuse me. But they are software,
so . . .

Can somebody please tell me where to get a modem driver if
(a) it isn't on the Windows CD; and
(b) the modem company has since disappeared?

In particular, I'm looking for a driver for the Practical Peripherals
5677US, running on Windows 98SE.

I have found several sites that CLAIM to provide free drivers -- but
then try to get them. At first they wanted my email address.
grummmmpp. Okay. Then they wanted my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER ???????
You gotta be kidding me.

All help will be appreciated.
