Where To Find & How-to Re-Install WMM 2.1 Video Effects

Okay, I got stupid. I was crusin' around on CNet and found WMM2 and
downloaded it. I had saved for a year and a half through this program to be
able to get my HP-Media Center and rely maybe too much on freeware. Well, I
didn't realize in a backgroud upgrade my WMM had been upgraded. After
installing the WMM2 I lost half the Effects - Zooms & Pans. I don't have the
money to buy an expansion pac of add-on, just need those simple ones back. I
can't do a back-up boot b/c the state wouldn't allow for the cost of the
back-up drive. If anyone cn help me retrieve those effect - they must still
be on my hd - or no where I can find free replacements plese let me know.

Well, first off, thank you PapaJohn.
Here's what I did:
I downloaded WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe from the blog that is linked at
your site (trying from the Windows page won't work) and went to install -
paying attention the second time where the Temp Files were being held (when
you try to just re-install the update you'll get a dialog box at the end
telling you the update is not needed, before you click ok - open up your c:
and find the Temp folder, open it and scroll down to the mm icon (roll your
mouse over to see .v is 2.1) and copy it to Programs/MovieMaker/ ... it will
ask if you want to overide the othr file - say yes.
