Where to Enter PID in TD for licensing

Hello All,

I am shifting towards creating licensing runtime images for XP Embedded. Now
what is this PID no. and where it is to be specified in Target Designer for
creating Licensed Images.
Are there any other setting or values to be entered in the TARGET DESIGNER
for creating Lincesed Images.
Besides entering PID no. during build of images and the microsoft sticker on
the device, Is there any thing left for licensing.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Amit,

PID is the unique license which you will get when you buy a XPe license
from Microsoft or Microsoft authorised distributors.

When you have PID, Load your runtime build in your target designer.
Once loaded, you will the name of your loaded file, expand and click
settings. you will see some menus on the right side colum. Click on Run
time Image licensing and enter your PID there.

Thanks Magesh,
But right now we are not having the license copy(TOOL), but will be having
in a day or two. and one more thing...the evaluation tool is not having the
option which u r saying(i.e Run time Image licensing)
But its having something like this-->Deployment Identification Settings
and below this several more setting appear..like
1)Device model identification
2)Device role code
3)Device serial number
4)Device license information
5)Runtime OEM revision

So is it the same which you r saying

The Evaluation version of Windows Embedded Studio does not show you the
menu with PID. Also you have more components (some useful macro
component) and more...
