Hello.

We have some secured PCs that are not connected to the internet. I
have downloaded the dotnetfx 3.0 and installed in these PCs quite some
time ago, and am thinking of downloading the dotnetfx 3.0 Service Pack
1 (SP1) to update those machines.

Unfortunately, all that I can get is that "dotnetfx30sp1setup.exe"
file that requires PCs to be connected to the internet to get the SP1.

Is there a full package of dotnetfx 3.0 SP1 available for download?

Thank you all !

This what you looking for?

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...5D-B255-4425-9E65-1E88A0BDB72A&displaylang=en

Took less than 10 seconds to find via Google.

You stupid ****. That's a bootstrapper for a WAN download, and it's the file
he already identified as being the one he didn't want.
Results 1 - 10 of about 376,000 for dotnet 3.0 SP1. (0.12 seconds)

Could you not just use the 3.5 redist? This includes 3.0 SP1, and will
make future 3.5 development simple.

3.5 won't install unless 3.0 is already installed.

Yes, at Microsoft. Did you even look there?

Have you tried? I'm pretty sure you can use the 3.5 installer even from
vanilla.

He's right though - the only way to get the already installed 3.0 to SP1
level without using the bootstrapper is to install the 3.5 redistributable.

That's 3.0, not 3.0 SP1. Better you should send a cmsg cancel now, mate.

Obviously my answer was so retarded you felt the need to tell me twice :-)

Without offering any suitable resolution yourself I see.

I've known all along what the correct answer is. As always, I reserve the
right to share or not share my knowledge at my own whim. I pften
deliberately choose not to share it to see how long it takes you useless
clowns to never get the right answer.
At least K-man comes up with intelligent informed answers. You are very
poor wannabe K-Man but they do say imitation is the sincerest form of
flattery ;-)

The correct answer is he should install .NET 3.5 to get 3.0 SP1.

But then, he's stuffed if he decides he wants to install 3.5 SP1.

Of course, nothing was said about the application(s) he's using or what
version of .NET they're targeted at, so it might all be pointless waffle
anyway.

Uh .... sorry man. That's the "Setup program", meaning, you gotta be
connected to the Net in order to get the whole thing downloaded.

Uh .... sorry man. That's the Redistributable Package, not the Installer
Stub. But, if you had read the thread you would have seen that a later post
from relic acknowledge that he gave the link for the 3.0 package because he
missed the SP1 requirement. Someone else gave the OP a method to get a full
3.0 SP1 by getting 3.5 Redistributable.
The guy is looking for the FULL PACKAGE for his "secured PCs", which,
if you bothered to read his post, clearly indicated that they are NOT
connected to the Net, for "obvious security reasons".

....and had you read the "THREAD", you would have not posted.
