Where is the convert to pdf icon?

I'm using Word 2003 and I remember in the 2000 version there was an icon
available to click to "convert to pdf" but I cannot find the option to add
the icon to the toolbar. I know I can file save as rtf, tiff, etc but pdf is
not an option; I can do file, print "as adobe pdf" to convert to pdf, but I
found it handy to have the "convert to pdf" icon on my toolbar. Can someone
help?
Thanks, B

You have to install the full version of Acrobat. The toolbar you mention is
part of the Acrobat add-in.

The only way to get the Convert to Adobe PDF button on your toolbar is to
have an Adobe Acrobat add-in installed. Although some sort of PDF-creating
add-in did come with some early versions of what was then called Acrobat
Reader (now Adobe Reader), now you have to have the full Acrobat product (or
one of the less expensive clones) in order to create PDFs. If you own
Acrobat, then check to see whether PDFMaker.dot is in your Word or Office
Startup folder.
