Where is Folder redirection under GPO?

V

Vince

Hi, all:

I am new to MMC, although read lot before I try to use it.
I am running Win2kpro, sp4, failed to move user profiles to drive D by
using System Property / User Profile: Copy to:, combined with User
Properties: profile path.
Windows help says GPO can do this job. But when I add the GPO for local
computer in MMC, under User config/windows settings: there is no Folder
redirection, only three extensions IE maintenance, Scripts and Security
settings there, in spite of "All Extension" is checked. I wonder, does pro
version have this option? If not, how can I redirect all the user profiles
to drive other than C. I am desperately in need of this option.

Thanks for any suggestion.

Vince.

Folder redirection is not available in the local policy. You will need to
create a policy and assign the policy to an OU site or domain. Folder
redirection settings are located under: User configuration\windows
settings\folder redirection. See the following article for more
information.
