where can i download JVM?

For a school assignment I absolutely have to use the banner ad manager.... where can I download JVM for it for myself and my prof? thanks

ive done that but the java is still not displaying.... ive been following the instructions on the site too to see how to make it work and it isnt... any ideas?

When you installed it, did you select your preferred browser and have re-booted your PC?

Otherwise you will need to contact Sun for help.

Many of us here strongly suggest the you avoid using any Java Applets, as you can see install it can
be a problem, and many users are not even going install it, and in most cases you can find
JavaScript scripts that can produce the same functionality.

mine only starts up when I arrive at a java page, then the steamy little coffee cup appears.

then of course it crashes when I close the page...very annoying.

Then it's not installed right. JVM runs silently / transparently in the background.

my prof decided to drop it from the assignment cuz I told him about the problems! thanks for the help though!

Sun JVM, has to load each time the browse loads, MS JVM runs in the background.
