I've just upgraded from Outlook 2000 to 2003, and the conversion went
through fine.
However, I was previously using multiple PST files because:
a) I didn't want to get anywhere near the 2gb limit and risk
corruption, and
b) I feel safer having my filing in separate files - it just seems
more manageable.
However, now the 2Gb limit no longer applies (with any new .pst files)
I'm wondering about moving things back into less separate files,
partly because I appreciate the new Search Folders facility, but
notice that it will only display from one file.
So my question is:
What's a recommended size for a single pst file, how should I decide
whether to keep multiple files, and are there any performance
implications (e.g. when displaying large folders)?
TIA
