When running Internet Explorer on-line

Felix

I recently cleaned my PC from viruses and according to 3
different anti-virus programs the PC is clean. However,
shortly after I go on-line in the Internet Explorer (v.6
SP1), an error comes up : Runtime error 204 at 0000 8AB2.
And shortly after SVCHOST.EXE is terminated by Windows
because it committed to many errors. Does anyone have any
advice?

Please let me know, I'd like to get some sleep! LOL

Take a look at Spybot

plus if you go to Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs and click on remove
for IE it gives an option to Repair

Thanks for replying, I ran BPS Adware-Spyware remover (Bullet Proof Soft), and others, like Micro Trends on-line scan. Do you know how I can log this problem, because I don't even know which application/service generates it

Thank yo

.Thank you for the tip, I ran Spybot, it found things to
remove, I tried to repair Internet Explorer, but when
tried to remove it, it rolled back to previous version.
Do you know if there is a log file that captures the
errors, which would maybe shed more light on what
application generates this error message.

Regards, Felix.
