When packaging for cd, my burner is not found. Why?

Can someone instruct me as to how I can have my cd "recording device"
recognized so I can "package for cd?" I have a dvd r/w drive and it works
fine with Nero Express.

The package for CD feature of powerpoint is a 2 step process.

1) you get powerpoint to 'package to cd'

then you
2) get nero to write/burn the files that powerpoint has 'packaged to cd' to
your blank CD.

Make sure that when you use the package for CD option you check the Copy to
folder Option TAJ mentioned in Step 1.
