when i updated 98 to xp

sir,
i installed 98 in c drive and xp in d drive. when i found some operation
probs,i reinstalled cd of xp to fix the prob. unfortunately it was in c drive
and reinstalled xp in c drive too. it was a mistake. i again installed 98 in
drive c. now when i restarting the system im getting choice of xp 2 and 98
1. means, in c drive there are 98 and xp.

can anybody suggest me how i can solve this prob. removing xp from drive c.???

i wud be thankful if anybody suggest me abt this issue soon

If you installed them on different partitions use a startup disk and
once it boots into dos type "fdisk" this will allow you to delete the
partition that xp is installed on.

Other wise you will just have to format the disk using the format
command in dos.
