when ever i try to use create table using wizard i get a message "activex
component can't create object"
what is causing this error and how can i resolve it

I suspect you will receive a similar error message if you try to use any of the wizards. As for
the table wizard, I do not recommend using it at all. You are much better off to first design
your database on paper
(http://www.datatexcg.com/Downloads/DatabaseDesignTips1997.pdf),
and then create the tables in design view where you specify various field attributes.
