When I send an attachment Outlook converts it to a WID.DAT

Every time I send an attachment from my outlook ( PDF., DOC., etc ) it gets
converted to a WID.DAT File that can't be opened by a recipient.

You are sending your messages in Rich Text format, which only Outlook can
read.

Switch to Plain text or HTML.
