When i open the task manager, it closes as soon as i move the mous

Everytime I press control,alt,delete or if i right click on the task bar and
click task manager, it closes before i can even run my mouse over the screen.
Sometimes it doesnt even open, but it's icon apears in the icon tray on the
taskbar. When i run my mouse over the icon it disappears. This has happened
recently and the task manager has always worked before. I dont know what I
did??!!

You have a virus. Restart the system in Safe mode to begin cleanup. These
