When I close my Access report, the underlying query stays open.

I have a report based on a parameter query, with the parameters input via
form. When I close the report, the underlying query is still open. How do I
automate the closure or invisibility of the underlying query?

If the parameters are being entered via a form, the query should never be
visibly open. Are you wanting to close the form? Have you manually opened
the query for some reason?

thanks for answering my query- in the meantime I figured out the problem. I
was trying to "recycle" a previous form and apparently hadn't cleared out
enough of the old code. Once I gave up and started over from scratch,
everything worked as it should.
Sigh...
